Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses, professional resources, subscriptions and related services offered through glitzeraly. The services include access to materials on studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and workflows for television news and live shows. The policy governs transactions made by customers in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed and under what circumstances refunds may be issued. It does not cover third-party products or services accessed via external links.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Any Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. glitzeraly reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. No additional charges apply for standard access; however, optional add-ons such as extended support or certification may incur separate fees clearly shown at checkout.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation and Payment Security
Payments are accepted via major credit and debit cards, bank transfers and approved digital wallets. All transactions are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Authorisation occurs immediately upon submission, and funds are held until the order is confirmed. glitzeraly does not store card details. Customers receive an email confirmation once payment is successfully authorised.
Order, Booking or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
A contract is formed when glitzeraly sends an order confirmation email following successful payment. This email contains access details or subscription activation instructions. Until confirmation is issued, no contract exists and any payment received will be refunded if the order cannot be fulfilled.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK customers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for most digital content. Cancellation within this period entitles the customer to a full refund provided access to the materials has not begun. For subscriptions, cancellation can be made at any time via the account dashboard, with refunds calculated on a pro-rata basis for unused periods where eligible.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available for unused digital resources within the cooling-off period or where technical faults prevent access. Refunds are not provided for content that has been downloaded, streamed or substantially accessed, for promotional offers, or for services already delivered. Customised or one-to-one training sessions are non-refundable once scheduled.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, customers must email [email protected] with their order number, full name, and reason for the request. The request should be submitted within the applicable time limits. glitzeraly will acknowledge receipt within two working days and may ask for additional details such as proof of purchase or a description of any access issues encountered.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of the Refund Decision
Each request is reviewed within ten working days. glitzeraly examines whether the customer has complied with access restrictions and whether the request falls within policy terms. Customers are notified of approval or rejection by email, including the reasons for any refusal and information on further options such as contacting the UK Ombudsman if applicable.
Refund Method, Processing Time and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, though bank processing times may extend this to fourteen days. Customers receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services or Promotional Offers
Digital courses are delivered instantly upon payment, so the 14-day cooling-off period ends once access begins. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional discounts are non-refundable and cannot be applied retrospectively. Access to live workshops is governed by separate attendance terms stated at booking.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments must be resolved within seven days or the order will be cancelled. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically upon detection. Chargebacks are treated as refund requests and may result in account suspension pending resolution. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate order cancellation and reporting to relevant authorities in line with UK law.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude
Nothing in this policy affects statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR. Customers retain the right to remedies for faulty digital content, including repair, replacement or refund, regardless of the time limits stated above. Complaints can be escalated to the relevant UK consumer protection bodies.
